Meet Your Host, Jay
Jay was introduced to papercutting in early childhood in China and has honed this art form professionally for over 8 years. Currently their personal art practice focuses on the concept of working class time debt, crip theory and papercutting as a balm. An antidote created from crip perseverance, a physical remedy of resistance against the working-class time-debt that denies us the luxury of time for creating.
New 2025 Schedule
Mondays (Weekly): 12:30–2:30 PM
Thursdays (Every Other Week): 6:30–8:30 PM
First Saturday of Each Month: 1:00–3:00 PM
(Our bookshop is typically closed on Mondays, so you’ll enjoy a peaceful, private atmosphere during your workshop and our usual offering of 10% off in-store.)
Book Your Spot
Spaces are limited to maintain a hands-on experience. Secure your seat by booking below (or email/DM us with any questions). We can’t wait to share this timeless craft with you!
